Michal Bachman is the Founder and CEO at GraphAware, Managing Director at GraphAware UK, and
General Manager at GraphAware UAE.
He holds an MSc degree in Computing from Imperial College London, where he wrote a distinguished
thesis on graph databases. Prior to founding GraphAware, Michal worked
in the software industry as a developer, architect, consultant, and trainer for over 10 years.
He has developed
software for large organisations (Kohl’s, SFR, Kuehne+Nagel) as well as small ones, published
articles online, and presented at conferences around the world.
Kyle McNamara is the CEO, Americas at GraphAware. He has 20+ years in the software industry as a
full-stack web-application developer and architect, as well as in enterprise analytics, software
sales and technical pre-sales. Working in venture capital-funded startups to Fortune 50
technology companies, he has created and led teams of all sizes. Recently he managed the IBM
Financial Services Cloud/Analytics Architect team, followed by launching a flourishing
consulting services startup. Kyle has also authored white-papers and technical articles, and has
presented in a variety of contexts from conferences to user groups.
Christophe Willemsen is the CTO at GraphAware. Before joining the team, Christophe worked as
communication systems engineer for the Belgian Navy for almost 15 years and taught courses about
maritime distress and emergency communication systems. He is a skilled software engineer who has
led many big projects in HR and Operations Departments.
Christophe is the author of Graphgen, an online graph generation engine for Neo4j, which
received a Graphie Award during GraphConnect San Francisco 2014, and an active member of the
VP of Engineering
Luanne Misquitta is the VP of Engineering and Professional Services at GraphAware. She holds a
BSc degree in Computer Science from St. Xavier’s College. Luanne is a developer, consultant,
and trainer with over 17 years of experience. She is a valued member of the Neo4j community,
an active open-source contributor, and one of the main committers to Spring Data Neo4j. Luanne
is based in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Alessandro Negro is the Chief Scientist at GraphAware. He has been a long-time member of the

in subnuclear physics and several years of experience in the field of data analytics, he has

and visualization, and machine learning. He is dedicated to expanding his knowledge base as well

Dr. Asma Adala is a Data Scientist at GraphAware. She holds a Ph.D. in ICT from the University of
Carthage of Tunisia. She is based in the Czech Republic. Asma has 9 years of experience in
research and academia. Her research interests are in the areas of Data Analytics, machine
learning, Big Data Management Systems, and Distributed Systems. At GraphAware, she is focusing
on Natural Language Processing and knowledge extraction empowered by Graph technologies. Her
focus is to unlock data-driven insights with NLP and AI for smarter IT solutions in the

Geoff Barnes is a Consultant at Graphaware that brings 5+ years of software development in large

Hana Neumann is the Finance Manager for EMEA at GraphAware. She has professional experience from
working at Deloitte where she gained in-depth knowledge in accounting, taxes, and M&A
transactions. Before joining GraphAware, she participated in the setup of finance processes in a
start-up. Hana holds a Masters degree in International Relations and Economics Policy from
Masaryk University in Brno and is a registered Czech Tax Advisor.
Irena Sevcikova joined GraphAware as Operations Support. After completing a Hotel Management
Diploma in the Czech Republic she worked mainly in the hotel and airline industry. She has lived
in the Middle East since 2002 and worked as a Marketing Executive for a major airline.

Veronika Srncová is Operations & HR Manager at GraphAware. She graduated at the University of
Economics in Prague with a Masters degree in HR and Business Administration. Veronika has almost
10 years of experience in HR and project management, mainly in the Middle East, where she has
lived and worked for the past 8 years. She is now responsible for the smooth and effective
running of the company in the UAE.
Claudia Boellis joined GraphAware as Operations Support in Italy. After her studies, she worked
in the export-import business and the tourist industry. During her professional career, she

Martin Macke is a designer at GraphAware. He is responsible for the GraphAware logo and visual
identity, the look and feel of the GraphAware website and all online and offline materials. He
