GraphAware Hume, the graph-based intelligence analysis platform, has been deployed by a national law enforcement agency in the Nordics to support the detection and disruption of transnational organised crime.
GraphAware continues to build momentum in 2025, advancing its mission to empower law enforcement agencies around the world with graph-powered intelligence capabilities. In a recent milestone, the agency adopted GraphAware Hume to help uncover complex criminal networks and accelerate investigations of smuggling, trafficking, and other serious organised crime.
Leading the Innovation in Europe
GraphAware’s latest deployment in Europe underscores the critical value of graph technology for modern intelligence work. Experience from previous implementations with Australian and US law enforcement and national security agencies has shown that data must be handled and analysed differently to meet the complexity of today’s threat landscape.
“It’s no surprise that agencies in the Nordics are embracing such an innovative analytical solution—this region is known for its commitment to the rule of law, its capacity to innovate, and its results-oriented approach.”

A Successful Proof of Concept
Ahead of its adoption, the agency conducted a focused Proof of Concept (PoC) with GraphAware. The objective was clear: to demonstrate that graph-powered analysis could significantly accelerate intelligence and investigative processes by helping analysts to identify entities, locations and devices of interest, reveal connections among them, and enable the agency to act quickly.
Working closely with the agency’s technical and analytical teams, GraphAware implemented the PoC using GraphAware Hume, transforming previously siloed law enforcement data into a fully connected knowledge graph. After several iterations, analysts were using GraphAware Hume’s intuitive, no-code tools to answer complex investigative questions, uncover new insights, and demonstrate platform’s operational value.
Why Do Graphs Matter?
Today’s world is a web of hidden connections, buried under an ever-growing flood of fragmented information. Even the most experienced analysts struggle to track fast-moving threats in such an environment. To overcome this potentially critical blind spot, agencies must embrace graph-centric analysis to:
- bring together data from multiple systems,
- reveal the invisible connections that traditional tools miss, and
- deliver timely, mission-critical intelligence for investigators and decision-makers.
GraphAware helps law enforcement and intelligence agencies make sense of complex, fragmented data. Our platform, GraphAware Hume, connects information from across systems to reveal context, patterns and relationships that traditional tools miss.
By turning disconnected data into a coherent, navigable whole, we enable analysts to focus on understanding rather than searching — helping them make confident, timely decisions that support investigations and safeguard communities.
