What is Geospatial and Temporal Analysis

For some types of analysis, data has to be seen in its geographic or temporal context. Geospatial analysis displays data in the relevant location, and temporal analysis shows how data changes over time. Combined, the two features can show how data relates to location over time.

Depending on the use case, both features can be combined or used separately from each other. In Hume Visualisations, users can enable and disable both features as they see fit during the analysis.

Benefits of Geospatial and Temporal Analysis

  • Harness native Neo4j geospatial attributes to display nodes on the map.

  • Use the schema to configure the map visibility.

  • Cluster nodes by proximity.

  • Auto refresh data layers on context change to retrieve relevant data.

Feature Building Blocks

Maps

Analyze data in its location on a map. The geographical position enables intuitive analysis and uncovers insights that cannot be gained without this context.

Timeline

See how data changes through time. The temporal context of data can uncover trends and patterns that otherwise stay hidden.
